I don’t have my ears pierced. That doesn’t bug me at all since I never wanted them pierced. What bugs me is when people
1.) Tell me that I should
or
2.) Tell me “it’s okay, that’s what clip-on earrings are for”
Okay, all I’m gonna say about number one is that it’s my body and I don’t need to shove anything in my ears that do nothing but “look pretty”.
But the second one really bugs me. It’s like, even though I’ve made it clear that I don’t want anything on or in my ears, they say “Oh, it’s okay but you should still wear jewelry.”
No. I don’t really like jewelry at all, and the only thing close to it is my friendship bracelet made out of string and beads. I can wear a necklace every now and then, but only if it’s made of string or cloth. I don’t really enjoy anything metal. (I think it comes from the fact that I see people constantly chewing on their necklaces and just LKWJAHLKJFH NO. I’m sorry that’s a huge pet peeve and it grosses me out.)
Also I don’t even want any engagement ring or wedding ring. I don’t like rings that much either
…yeah that’s it.
